Lorenzo Catena is a photographer based in Rome. His approach is inspired by the infinite possibilities and interactions between people and the space they inhabit. After training in architecture, the Roman photographer captures moments of everyday life working towards complex and evocative compositions, assembled with harmony.

In 2018 he was among the honorable mentions of the Sony World Photography Exhibition and his work was exhibited at Somerset House. In 2018 he won first prize at the London Street Photography Festival (London category). In 2019 Lorenzo was among the winners of the "Summer heat" competition curated by Magnum Photos. In 2021 his work was selected by Martin Parr among the winning photos of the Street Photography category for The Independent Photographer Platform.

Dopo la formazione in architettura, il fotografo romano cattura momenti di vita quotidiana lavorando a composizioni complesse ed evocative, assemblate con armonia.

Nel 2018 è stato tra le menzioni d'onore della Sony World Photography Exhibition e il suo lavoro è stato esposto alla Somerset House. Nel 2018 ha vinto il primo premio al London Street Photography Festival (categoria London). Nel 2019 Lorenzo è stato tra i vincitori del concorso "Summer heat" curato da Magnum Photos.
